Two of my closest friends just returned from two years away in the Peace Corps! I had the pleasure of picking them up at the airport and throwing them a small party over the weekend. I could not think of a better gift for one of my friends than the Koala SpiritHood. She LOVED it! They just don't have warm, soft, and cuddly things like that in Guyana! I think that this art piece, "The Golden Tiger," is pretty awesome. Image walking down the street in Paris and seeing a projection of a tiger running along the street! What a trip! Last weekend we went to the Alpine Village Oktoberfest celebration, or as I like to call it, Okto-BEAR-fest! It is the oldest and largest Oktoberfest celebration in Southern California and it was definitely a good time! This weekend is your last chance to go for the season! Check them out here.
