Giants baseball fans!!! Did you just see Pablo Sandoval AKA Kung Fu Panda hit the third straight home run in the World Series! Holy moly! I can't think of a better way to support the Giants right now than getting yourself the Panda SpiritHood. Show Kung Fu Panda some panda love! Kung Fu Panda Pablo Sandoval SpiritHood Add Comment Recently when hanging out with a bunch of friends (and wearing a spirit hood, duh!), one of my friends mentioned that SpiritHoods remind him of the Japanese anime movie Princess Mononoke. I had never head of it before, but since looking it up, I totally agree that the resemblance is pretty striking! The husky spirit hood is a pretty close fit! What do you think? And the coolest part is that "Mononoke" is a term in the Japanese language that means "Spirit" and also in the movie, Princess Mononoke is a human girl that is raised by the wolf god. How cool is that!? Definitely going to add it to my Netflix queue! Have any of you seen it?  I hope you all had as much fun on Halloween as I did! Although I started the holiday as Kung Fu Panda, I couldn't resist the opportunity to also dress as a wolf using my grey warrior wolf SpiritHood. Halloween is just too short to only wear one costume!  Really though, doggie Halloween costumes are my favorite part of the holiday. Here is a collection of some of my favorites!             HAPPY HALLOWEEN you all! I love Halloween because it is an opportunity for us all to get away with dressing as something that we are not....and to eat as much candy as possible!  This year my husband and I used our SpiritHoods to dress as Kung Fu Panda and Yogi Bear! Did you use a SpiritHood in your Halloween costume? ...If so, I want to see a picture! Post it here. ... Although we used our hoods in our costumes, I am a strong believer that SpiritHoods are not just about Halloween... THEY ARE A LIFESTYLE!   A couple of weeks ago I came across a really cool blog post that featured SpiritHoods and showed a bunch of different makeup ideas with 8 different hoods. The artists did such a great job and I admire their talent! You can check it out at here. Since that post, I have been thinking about how I might want to do my makeup for Halloween. Here are a couple more ideas! I am especially in love with this Panda Bear! I have also posted a good makeup tutorial for a Wolf!  Halloween is quickly approaching and I wanted to share some ideas I have for Halloween costumes that involve the use of a Spirithood! These classic characters are loved by all and you could have lots of fun getting creative with your costume and character persona! Smokey the Bear - I used the Brown Bear SpiritHood to create this costume this year. It was so much fun romping through the forest dressed as Smokey, and I even won the SpiritHoods Halloween Costume Contest!  Who doesn't love Yogi the Bear? Use the Brown Bear SpiritHood and pair it with a big white collar, green tie, and green hat! Don't forget to bring your picnic basket full of Halloween goodies!  I am strongly considering dressing as Kung Fu Panda this Halloween. I plan to pair my Panda Bear SpiritHood with a whole lotta ass kicking!  Ahhh... the Coca Cola Polar Bear. So adorable and so refreshed! This could be a fun costume using the Polar Bear SpiritHood, a red scarf, and of course, an ice cold Coca Cola!  "Who is affraid of the Big Bad Wolf?" ... well, don't tell any one, but I kind of am! Check out the Black Wolf SpiritHood for this one!  Pepe Le Pew - such a heart throb! All you need for this one is the Skunk SpiritHood and to unleash some mad game on the ladies! Oooh LaLa!  New Socks? Two Socks? Whose Socks? ... I love the idea of being Fox in Socks by Dr. Seuss. My main motive...? The new Red Fox Spirithood is GORGEOUS and I need an excuse to get my hands on one! |
