I am SERIOUSLY obsessed with the new SpiritHoods Kids Doodle Hoods!  I have said it before and I will say it again... I wish I had more children in my life to get SpiritHoods for!  Even better... can I be a kid so that I can fit in this amazing new hood?

Doodle Hoods come in either the kids snow leopard or kids husky.  They are the perfect way for a child to connect with their inner animal spirit and express their artistic creativity by designing their own SpiritHood liners!  Included with the purchase is are Cra-Z-Art washable markers that can be used to draw on the white cotton hood liner.  Just wash the hood to start over with a clean drawing surface.  I can't think of a better way to make your SpiritHood truly your own!

... AMAZINGNESS!!

SpiritHoods has officially launched their new line of feathers for your hoods!

"In dreams a feather symbolizes travel or the ability to move more freely in life. When a feather is adorned, an even stronger connection is made to the animal spirit. Feathers help create balance between the physical and non-physical realms."

Here are the red feathers and quail feathers from www.spirithoods.com
These feathers clip on to the tag that can be found on many of the newer spirit hoods.  They make excellent gifts for the holidays for your friends with SpiritHoods!

As many of you know, I have been wearing feathers on my hoods for quite some time.  See my tutorial if you are interested in making your own Do It Yourself feathers.

Last week I posted a couple of pictures of a feather accessory that I made for my SpiritHood.  Feathers are such a fun way to make your SpiritHoods truly your own

Based on the small tag that SpiritHoods has recently added to the ear of their newer hoods, I have a feeling that soon the company will begin selling their own hood accessories... but who wants to wait!?  I was asked to create a tutorial on how to make your own original feather Spirit Hood accessory, and here it is!
Here is the finished product!  What do you think?

As you already know, my SpiritHoods are already my favorite accessories... but what can be better than accessorizing your favorite accessory!?  Overkill?  I don't think so!  Awesome?  YES!

I decided to make my own feather hair accessories to clip to the ear of my SpiritHoods.  They are so easy to make yourself, or you could find them almost anywhere at the mall.  I just used an alligator clip, a thin metal chain, some metal wire wrapping, a couple of feathers, and some pretty beads!

Do you accessorize your SpiritHoods?  Leave me a comment and tell me how!

Below is a picture of a fellow SHLover, Kim, with her accessorized Snow Leopard.  She bought these pink feathers at Baker's Shoes.
