Apparently I am not the only one who wants to be a Tiger!

Recently when hanging out with a bunch of friends (and wearing a spirit hood, duh!), one of my friends mentioned that SpiritHoods remind him of the Japanese anime movie Princess Mononoke.  I had never head of it before, but since looking it up, I totally agree that the resemblance is pretty striking!  The husky spirit hood is a pretty close fit!  What do you think?

And the coolest part is that "Mononoke" is a term in the Japanese language that means "Spirit" and also in the movie, Princess Mononoke is a human girl that is raised by the wolf god.  How cool is that!?  Definitely going to add it to my Netflix queue!
Have any of you seen it?

I am so EXCITED that SpiritHoods has been nominated for the prestigious Peta2 Libby Award this year! Way to go TRIBE!

For those of you who don't know, Peta2 is the largest youth animal rights group in the world!  SpiritHoods has been nominated in the category of "Best Cruelty-Free Accessories," which is so awesome since they have done so much to protect endangered wildlife through the sales of ProBlue SpiritHoods.  For every ProBlue SpiritHood that is sold, SpiritHoods donates 10% of profits to nonprofit organizations that protect these beautiful animals.

Right now, ProBlue includes the Polar Bear, Grey Wolf, Snow Leopard, Black Wolf, Red Wolf, and Panda SpiritHoods.

PLEASE VOTE for SpiritHoods to win this awesome award!

I'm not sure why I get such a kick out of fur hats that look like they are SpiritHoods on Drugs, but I just do!  I found this picture of what looks like the Brown Bear Spirit Hood on steroids.

This is why SpiritHoods should NOT do drugs!

YAY!  The snow is back and its time to hit the slopes!  SpiritHoods are the hottest accessory that you can wear this season.  Whether you ski or snowboard...  Show your tribe spirit, and stay warm and cozy with your own spirit hood on the slopes!

_SpiritHoods has added a few new hoods to their collection!  Here are some pictures and descriptions from www.spirithoods.com and www.spirithoodskids.com
Kids Grey Wolf Warrior: Loyal. Social. Teacher. Those with a wolf spirit are fiercely loyal creatures. They are team players and work well in groups. The wolf is a social animal and a great communicator, often teaching those around it.

It's Back!! ...Husky (Plaid):  Brave. Adenturous. Loyal.  The Husky spirit embodies spiritual well-being, resilience, and the ability to survive and guide others. This animal spirit works well with others and has great endurance in extreme circumstances. Huskies are athletic, loyal, and have immense determination.

Kermit: Magic. Purity. Leadership.  The Kermit spirit is green like the color of Spring, and green can be cool and friendly-like, and green can be big like an ocean, or important like a mountain, or tall like a tree.
